Project Pacing
Welcome back, it has been a while since I’ve been able to work on my projects within Bastion Industries. Life has been super busy with family and career responsibilities. I have found small pockets of time to devote to creating resources and cannot wait to get back to developing for readers, listeners, and viewers.
Project pacing has been on my mind a lot lately. Is it viable to devote only a few hours here and there to side hustles, or do you need to treat it like another full time position to find success? The marketplace has a few demands but as long as you keep adding value and solving problems, I truly believe your investment in yourself will be worth it.
I have seen plenty of friends and professionals in the tech space create their own businesses. They are working by chipping away at large goals over time and I am super excited to see their success. A little consistency can go a long way. Whether you are focused on a learning goal, a certification, or your own project you can take small steps each day to make a large impact. Experiment as much as possible until you find a good workflow.
My new focus is to work on introducing some great resources in the coming year:
The Bastion Brief – free cyber security and information technology learning centered on career development achieved through posts, podcast episodes, and more!
The Enterprise Digital Duo – paid services, courses, and speaking opportunities for enterprise environments for employees and executives.
The College Digital Duo – paid publications; a book and templates for students to find success during their studies while at university.
The Parent Digital Duo – free parenting resources and learning achieved through posts, podcast episodes, and more!
I cannot wait to share more to help build a bastion around the people and things that matter most to readers.
Thank you for tuning in and consider following us on socials to stay up to date with the latest resources from Bastion Industries.
